Rule 10 - [Effective 1/1/2025] Decisions, Judgments, and Appellate Review in Original Special Actions
(a) Decisions. The court must state the grounds for a decision in an original special action. The court may:
(1) grant all or part of the requested relief;
(2) wholly or partly affirm, vacate, or modify the challenged decision;
(3) order or prohibit specified action by any defendant; or
(4) dismiss a special action with or without prejudice.
(b) Judgments. Judgments in an original special action are the same as judgments in any civil action and must comply with Rules 54 and 58 of the Rules of Civil Procedure.
(c) Appellate Review. A judgment may be appealed as provided in ARCAP. A party also may seek relief by filing an appellate special action if it is appropriate to do so under Rule 12.
