As established by W.S. 9-3-403, the Wyoming Retirement System is a body corporate with all of the powers and privileges of a corporation. All of the monies, securities, and other property of the Wyoming Retirement System is held in trust for the purpose of providing retirement benefits to qualified members. Pursuant to W.S. W.S. W.S. 9-3-409(a) the Wyoming Retirement Board has the authority to make rules and regulations for the administration of the retirement system.
