Section 10-9 - Emergency or After Office Hours Care

Emergency or necessary after office hours care performed in a non-emergency room setting shall be coded 99054 or 99058. These codes shall be paid in addition to other services provided during the same visit. Emergency department services shall be billed using the appropriate CPT codes.
