Commission hearings shall be recorded on tape or other appropriate means at the request of the claimant or employer or when the commission deems appropriate. Otherwise, they do not have to be recorded. If recorded, the recording is subject to being erased or purged three months after the time limit to appeal the commission decision has passed and no appeal has been filed.
