(a) Nitrogen vaporizing units shall be spotted upwind or crosswind of the well.
(b) A shutoff (plug) valve and two (2) check valves shall be installed on a nitrogen line upstream of a commingling tee or manifold.
(c) A shutoff (plug) and a check valve shall be installed on a liquid line upstream of a commingling tee or manifold.
(d) Two (2) shutoff (plug) valves and a choke valve shall be installed on the release line with the shutoff valves located upstream of the choke valve.
(e) A check valve shall be installed in the fluid line immediately upstream of the nitrogen connection to that line.
(f) When the nitrogen is being mixed with fluid, the nitrogen and fluid lines shall be teed together as closely to the well head as possible.
(g) When nitrogen line is connected directly to the wellhead, all well head connections shall be inspected to insure they meet or exceed the anticipated working pressure.
(h) The discharge manifold shall be staked or anchored in such a manner that manifold movement is limited in the event of a connection failure.
(i) Liquid lines shall be pressure tested with liquid only.
(j) Nitrogen lines shall be pressure tested with nitrogen only. This shall be a leak test only.
(k) No manifold shall be pressure tested with nitrogen at a pressure above its normal working pressure.
