(a) A minimum of one (1) fire extinguisher with a minimum capacity of five (5) pounds multipurpose dry chemical, or equivalent material rated to 10 BC, shall be available for use in or on the logging unit.
(b) Any gas samples brought into the mud logging unit shall be removed from the logging unit through an unobstructed vent.
(c) A mud logging unit shall not be placed within 50 feet of a flare line.
(d) A flare line shall not be placed within 50 feet of a mud logging unit.
[NOTE: In the above context, the mud logging unit is the entire unit which houses the mud logging instruments; generally a trailer or van-type unit.]
