(a) Medicare standards and procedures. A request to reopen shall be made in the manner specified By Medicare, directed to the entity specified by Medicare, and shall be disposed of pursuant to the methods and standards specified by Medicare.
(b) Sole remedy. A provider which has an issue which may be resolved through a request to reopen may not request a rate adjustment or reconsideration pursuant to this rule or an administrative hearing pursuant to Chapter I.
