The Psychiatric Hospital buildings shall be designed, constructed, arranged, equipped and maintained to ensure the safety of patients, personnel and visitors and to provide adequate and efficient care and treatment to the patients. Fire safety in Psychiatric Hospitals shall be in accordance with the requirements of NFPA Life Safety Code 101, Section 31 - 4.4.
