Should a permit expire or be revoked, all formerly permitted live wildlife in possession shall be disposed of by the permittee within seven (7) days or a longer time period agreed to by the Department after expiration or revocation of the permit. No formerly permitted live wildlife shall be abandoned, released, or removed from the holding facility without prior written permission of the Department. All formerly permitted live wildlife remaining at the holding facility seven (7) days after expiration or revocation of the permit may be taken by the Department without compensation to the permittee.
