Section DWD 147.01 - Purpose(1) Under s. 108.066, Stats., an employer engaged in agricultural activities may apply to the department by May 31 for designation as a seasonal employer. The department shall issue an appealable determination regarding the application by June 30. The department shall grant seasonal employer designation if all of the requirements under s. 108.066(3), Stats., are met.(2) This chapter specifies the industries that the department shall consider to be primarily engaged in agricultural production, agricultural services, forestry, or commercial fishing, hunting, or trapping.Wis.
