Changes, additions or omissions to ANSI/IIAR 2 are specified in this subchapter and are rules of the department and are not requirements of ANSI/IIAR 2.

Under section SPS 345.40(2) (b), closed-circuit ammonia mechanical refrigeration systems may be designed, constructed, installed and tested in accordance with ANSI/IIAR 2 and this subchapter, in combination with ANSI/ASHRAE standard 15 sections 10.2 and 11.
