Section SPS 327.27 - Carbon monoxide alarms(1) GENERAL. A listed and labeled carbon monoxide alarm shall be installed within 10 feet of a fireplace or fuel-burning appliance.(2) ELECTRICAL SERVICE. If electrical service for a camping unit is provided by a public utility, a carbon monoxide alarm required under sub. (1) shall be continuously powered by the camping unit electrical service and shall have a backup battery power supply. Wis. Admin. Code Department of Safety and Professional Services SPS 327.27
