Section SPS 378.07 - Fire extinguishers(1) In all buildings not provided with interior standpipes, standard chemical fire extinguishers (s. SPS 375.27) shall be provided in the proportion of one extinguisher to each 2500 square feet of floor area or fraction; but there shall be at least one fire extinguisher on each floor. All fire extinguishers shall be prominently exposed to view and always accessible.(2) In addition to the fire extinguishers required for general protection, there shall be at least one extinguisher of appropriate size and type in each laboratory, kitchen, shop, or other vocational room.Wis.
