Section SPS 192.85 - Shin pads(1) Professional contestants may not wear shin pads. Amateur contestants shall wear shin pads that meet the requirements under sub. (2). Shin pads are subject to the approval of the commissioner or department representative.(2) Shin pads shall be of a soft material and secured to the shins with the shin pad's elastic strap and medical or athletic tape. Shin instep pads are permitted, but shin pads with metal loop fasteners and grappling or soccer shin guards are prohibited.Wis. Admin. Code Department of Safety and Professional Services SPS 192.85
