Section NR 297.021 - Effluent limitations representing the degree of effluent reduction attainable by the application of the best practicable control technology currently available

Except as provided in 40 CFR 125.30 to 125.32, any existing point source subject to this subchapter shall achieve the following effluent limitations representing the degree of effluent reduction attainable by application of BPT.

(1) Except for the installations subject to subs. (2) and (3), veneer manufacturing installations may not discharge process wastewater pollutants into waters of the state.
(2) The following limitations apply to softwood veneer manufacturing processes which use direct steaming for the conditioning of logs:
