Section NR 254.081 - Specialized definitionsThe following definitions are applicable to the terms used in this subchapter:
(1) "Batch" means descaling operations in which the products are processed in discrete batches.(2) "Continuous" means descaling operations that remove surface scale from sheet or wire products in continuous processes.(3) "Oxidizing salt bath descaling" means the removal of scale from semi-finished steel products by the action of molten salt baths other than those containing sodium hydride.(4) "Pipe and tube batch" means descaling operations that remove surface scale from pipe and tube products in batch processes.(5) "Reducing salt bath descaling" means the removal of scale from semi-finished steel products by the action of molten salt baths containing sodium hydride.(6) "Rod and wire batch" means descaling operations that remove surface scale from rod and wire products in batch processes.(7) "Sheet and plate batch" means descaling operations that remove surface scale from sheet and plate products in batch processes.Wis.
