Section NR 756.01 - Purpose

The purpose of this chapter is to establish planning, compliance, and financial responsibility requirements for sites or facilities with contaminated sediment that rely on an engineering control to protect public health, safety, welfare, and the environment from the contaminated sediment. This chapter is adopted under s. 227.11(2), Stats., and ch. 292, Stats.
