Section NR 704.01 - Purpose

The purpose of this chapter is to establish criteria and procedures for developing, establishing and amending a contingency plan to be used by the department when responding to abandoned containers of hazardous substances, other than buried containers. This chapter is adopted pursuant to ss. 227.11(2) and 292.41, Stats.
