The state WIC office may recoup excess payments made to the vendor, as verified by the state WIC office, resulting from the vendor's violation of s. DHS 149.10. If a recoupment is imposed, the state WIC office shall also impose an enforcement assessment of 50 percent of the amount of the recoupment imposed.
