Section 88-4-3 - Applicant Eligibility Requirements

3.1. To qualify for a program loan, an applicant must:

3.1.1. be a West Virginia resident;

3.1.2. be an eligible veteran;

3.1.3. be a first time home buyer;

3.1.4. have successfully completed a homebuyer education class approved by the board of the West Virginia Housing Development Fund; and

3.1.5. have a minimum of $2,500 of their own funds invested in the transaction.

3.2. There is no income limit for program loan eligibility.
