Section 64-33-1 - General1.1. Scope - The West Virginia Code, Chapter 16, Article 5A, Section 1, et sequentia, as amended mandates that the director of the state department of health execute and administer the diagnosis, treatment and care of persons suffering from cancer in accordance with the applicable laws, rules and regulations of the State of West Virginia. Chapter 16, Article 5A, 931, as amended further mandates the establishment of a controlled substances therapeutic research program. 1.2. Authority - W.Va. Code § 16-5A-7(a)1.3.
