Scope. -- This rule establishes criteria and standards for programs, serving as an alternative to the traditional program established in the "Rules and Regulations Governing the Standards for Certification of Coal Mine Electricians," 48CSR7, for the training of apprentices to become Certified Coal Mine Electricians. This rule is only intended to regulate the structure and content of an alternative training program and it does not alter or affect any other requirement for the certification of coal mine electricians.1.2.
