Section 47-58-3 - Conflicting Provisions3.1. Recognizing that in certain cases, existing rule impose requirements that are more or less restrictive than the requirements of this rule, in the event that this rule conflicts with another applicable rule, the director shall determine which rule, or section(s) thereof, best complies with the intent of the Groundwater Protection Act, and require adherence to said rule or section(s) thereof. The director may, at his discretion, begin the formal regulatory process to remove the conflict between the rule.
