Section 47-56-3 - Notice of Violations3.1. General. An inspector or other authorized representative of the Secretary may issue a notice of violation for any violation he or she observes.3.2. Notice Procedures. A notice of violation shall be in writing, shall be signed by the inspector or other authorized representative of the Secretary and shall set forth with reasonable specificity: 3.2.a. The nature of the violation with a reference to the section of the statute, rule, order, or permit condition that was allegedly violated;3.2.b. The time and date of the observance of the violation; and3.2.c. A reasonable description of the facility where the violation is observed, and where within that facility the violation was observed, if appropriate.
