Section 36-31-3 - Prevention Of Injuries Due To Handling Of Materials3.1. Whenever the Director of the Department of Energy determines that a mine has experienced a substantial number of injuries due to materials handling, he shall require the mine operator to include a component in the mine's comprehensive safety program which identifies procedures for reducing such injuries.
