Section 36-1-21 - Employment of Agent21.1. At each shaft and/or slope construction operation, the operator shall employ a shaft and/or slope superintendent, who shall be the agent in charge of the shaft and/or slope operation.21.2. A certified person shall be in attendance at all times at each shaft and/or slope who has passed an examination given by the Office of Miners' Health, Safety and Training.
