Section 17-3-6 - Professional Ethics6.1. By rule, the Board promulgates the West Virginia Board of Examiners of Psychologists Code of Ethics (WVBEP Code of Ethics). All licensed psychologists, licensed school psychologists, supervised psychologists and supervised school psychologists shall meet the requirements of this code of ethics. In addition to the APA Code of Ethics, School-Psychologists are also bound by the National Association of School Psychologists Principles for Professional Ethics, and its provision shall have the same effect as if they were specifically promulgated rules of the Board.
