Section 15-14-2 - Definitions2.1. The following words and phrases have the following meanings: 2.1.a. "Central fill pharmacy" means a pharmacy or central filling operation registered as a pharmacy by the Board acting as an agent of or under contract with the originating or delivering pharmacy to fill or refill a prescription.2.1.b. "Central prescription filling" means filling of a new or refilling of a prescription drug order by a central fill pharmacy at the request of an originating or delivering pharmacy for delivery to the patient or patient's agent pursuant to the lawful order of a practitioner.2.1.c. "Originating pharmacy" means a pharmacy registered with the Board that uses a central fill pharmacy to fill or refill a prescription order received by or transferred to that pharmacy by the patient, the patient's agent, or the patient's prescriber.
