Section 141-59-5 - AVIATION ACCTOENT PREVENTION

a. Commanders will make maximiun use of unit aviation officers to establish and provide continued implementation of an effective aviation accident prevention program.

b. The plans, policies and procedures contained within this directive are to be considered minimum standards and requirements. Whenever and wherever practicable, prevention measures in excess of minimum standards will be accomplished.

c. Each commander will have a formal written aviation pre-accident plan that is compatible with the mission and function of the organization during unit and annual training periods.
