Section 141-58-46

Indoor smallbore rifle and pistol competition is encouraged for all units of the West Virginia National Guard for the following reasons:

a. To develop a high level of proficiency with individual service weapons through a training program with smaller caliber weapons.

b. Promote a higher level of esprit de corps through competition.

c. Provide a broad base for training and selection of personnel for the State teams.
