Section 141-58-12 - The Davis Cup Match

The Davis Cup, presented to the West Virginia National Guard by the late US Senator Henry Gassaway Davis in 1904, will be awarded annually to the winning team in the rifle competition between teams from company size units of the West Virginia National Guard.

a.Eligibility. Each company-size unit of the West Virginia National Guard may enter a team in the match, to the capacity of the range (15 teams). Each team will. consist of six (6) firers, a team captain, and a coach. The coach and/or captain may be firing members of the team. Members of the team must be members of the same unit entering the team. At least one member of the team must be a new shooter.

b.Rules. Rules of the match are the same as for individual competition as cited in paragraph 10.
