Section 141-58-52 - Annual Plan

The SMC will be responsible for the preparation of the State Marksmanship Training Plan (NGB Pam 350-6)

a. This plan should provide guidance to unit commanders in marksmanship subjects, set up a training program and tentative match schedule for the State Marksmanship Unit.

b. Excellence in competition badges and the distinguished shooter designation is desired for all members of the State Marksmanship Training Unit (SMTU). Annual match scedules will be made, giving the opportunity for each state team shooter to compete in the maximum number of "leg" matches authorized by existing regulations.
