Section 141-31-4-1 - INTRODUCTION

Accurate and timely records are essential in the development of the OPMS for West Virginia. Data entered on individual personnel records, both at unit level and at higher headquarters, form the basis for all determinations pertaining to the individual officer's career while in the WVARNG. The records and systems described in this chapter will form the basis by which decisions will be made by officer career managers and commanders concerning officer specialty classification and assignments under requirements of the OPMS.
