Section 11-12-1 - General1.1. Scope. -- W. Va. Code § 30-3-7(1)(a) authorizes the Board of Medicine to promulgate rules which are necessary to perform the duties and responsibilities of the Board, and W. Va. Code § 30-3-16(f) authorizes the Board to promulgate rules to implement this section of the West Virginia Medical Practice Act.1.2. Authority. -- W. Va. Code § 30-3-7(a)(1) and §30-3-16(f).1.3. Filing Date. -- April 30, 2024.1.4. Effective Date. -- May 1, 2024.1.5. Sunset Provision. -- This rule shall terminate and have no further force or effect upon August 1, 2028.
