Section 11-9-6 - Supervision and Control of Radiologist Assistant6.1. The radiologist assistant, whether employed by a health care facility or the supervising radiologist, shall perform only under the supervision and control of the supervising radiologist. The radiologist assistant may function in any setting within which the supervising radiologist routinely practices, but in no instance may a separate place of work for the radiologist assistant be established. The supervising radiologist shall be a physician permanently licensed in this state by the Board of Medicine, specializing in radiology and Board certified in radiology.
