Section 480-110-435 - Extension contracts(1) Each water company must file, as a part of its tariff, an extension rule that states the conditions required by the company before it will extend its transmission and distribution infrastructure to provide water service to an applicant.(2) Companies entering into any extension contract must:(a) File the contract with the commission not less than thirty days before the proposed effective date of the contract.(b) Conform the proposed contract to the applicable provisions of WAC 480-80-143 (Special contracts for gas, electric, and water companies).(3) Extension contracts must include the documentation necessary to show that the proposed charges are fair, just, reasonable, and sufficient.(4) An extension may also be referred to as a distribution extension, a main extension, or a line extension.Wash.
