Section 392-190-020 - In-service training-Bias awareness

Each school district and public charter school must provide training to all administrators and certificated and classroom personnel, including the school district or public charter school employee designated under WAC 392-190-060, (1) regarding their responsibilities under this chapter, and (2) to raise awareness of and eliminate bias based on sex, race, creed, religion, color, national origin, honorably discharged veteran or military status, sexual orientation, gender expression, gender identity, the presence of any sensory, mental or physical disability, or the use of a trained dog guide or service animal.
