Section 388-27-0145 - What constitutes a reasonable effort to place a child for adoption without adoption support? Reasonable effort to place a child without adoption support includes a child:
(1) Registered for three months with the Washington adoption resource exchange (WARE) without finding an adoptive family;(2) For whom a documented, agency search was conducted by the placing agency for three months, without finding a family who would adopt the child without adoption support services; or(3) For whom the placing agency's selected prospective adoptive family is unable to adopt the child without assistance from the adoption support program.Wash.
