Section 388-61A-1025 - What services must a department-funded domestic violence program provide?(1) Supportive services provided by the domestic violence program must align with the survivor-centered and empowerment service model described in this chapter, and must also: (a) Include a discussion of safety and options with each victim of domestic violence seeking assistance;(b) Be respectful, respond to each client's life situation, and respect each person's right to self-determination;(c) Be provided in a safe and supportive environment that offers the client the opportunity to examine the events that led to the need for domestic violence services; and(d) Be provided in a private setting for the comfort of the client and to protect the client's right to confidentiality.(2) Domestic violence programs must provide the following: (a) A location with a private setting to meet and assist victims of domestic violence who have a need for community advocacy or supportive services;(b) A dedicated telephone line that serves as the contact number for the domestic violence program;(c) Language and disability access;(f) Individual advocacy, including legal advocacy;(h) Child care assistance during individual advocacy sessions and support groups for the adult victim;(i) Emergency transportation assistance or access to transportation;(j) Information and referral; and(k) Community education and prevention efforts.Wash.
