Section 388-829R-165 - What must overnight planned respite services providers do to plan for and respond to emergencies?
(1) The over night planned respite services provider must develop an emergency response plan to address natural and other disasters.
(2) In an emergency, the overnight planned respite services provider must:
(a) Immediately call 911 if it is a life-threatening emergency;
(b) Provide emergency services;
(c) Notify DDA;
(d) Notify the primary caregiver, client's legal representative, or backup caregiver; and
(e) Submit a written report to DDA.
