Section 388-828-5600 - How does DDD determine the severity of your most prominent behavior?

If you have a prominent behavior, DDD asks you and your respondent(s) to identify the severity of your most prominent behavior using the following table:

Your behavior may be uncooperative, inconvenient, repetitive, and/or require time intensive support. However, your behavior is not considered aggressive or self-injurious.

Minor incidents

Your behavior, if allowed to continue over time, may result in life-threatening harm for yourself and/or others.

Potentially dangerous

Your behavior without immediate intervention will result in life-threatening harm for yourself and/or others.
