Section 388-78A-3050 - Common areas

(1) The assisted living facility must provide one or more common areas in which residents may participate in social and recreational activities. Common areas include, but are not limited to:

(a) Solariums;

(b) Enclosed sun porches;

(c) Recreation rooms;

(d) Dining rooms; and

(e) Living rooms.

(2) The assisted living facility must provide a total minimum floor space for common areas of one hundred-fifty square feet, or twenty square feet per resident, whichever is larger.

(3) The assisted living facility must provide common areas with furniture and furnishings that meet the residents' needs.
