Section 388-76-10535 - Resident rights-Notice of change to services
(1) The adult family home must inform each resident in advance of changes to services, items, activities, scope of care, or home rules as follows:
(a) In writing;
(b) At least fourteen days before the effective date of a change due to a substantial and continuing change in the resident's condition that necessitates substantially greater or lesser services, items, or activities;
(c) At least thirty days before the effective date of a change that decreases the scope of care, services, or activities due to circumstances beyond the home's control; and
(d) At least ninety days before the effective date the home voluntarily decreases the scope of care, services, or activities the home provides, if the change will result in the discharge of at least one resident.
(2) The home is not required to notify the resident if the home provides him or her different or additional services, items, or activities that do not result in an additional cost to the resident.
