Section 388-76-10515 - Resident rights-Exercise of rights

The adult family home must:

(1) Protect each resident's right to a dignified existence, self-determination, and communication with and access to persons and services inside and outside the home;
(2) Protect and promote the rights of each resident and assist the resident to exercise the rights of a resident of the home and the state of Washington.
(3) Be free of interference, coercion, discrimination, and retaliation from the home in exercising the resident's rights; and
(4) Ensure the resident's right to choose a representative who may exercise the resident's rights to the extent provided by law.
