Section 388-107-0450 - Early identification and management of individuals with active tuberculosis (TB)(1) The enhanced services facility must develop and implement policies and procedures that comply with nationally recognized TB standards set by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and applicable state law. Such policies and procedures include, but are not limited to, the following: (a) Identifying and following up on, staff and residents with symptoms suggestive of TB whether TB test results were positive or negative;(b) Identifying, and following up on, staff or residents with suspected or confirmed TB, in a timely manner.(2) The enhanced services facility must comply with chapter 49.17 RCW, Washington Industrial Safety and Health Act requirements to protect the health and safety of staff that may come in contact with persons having infectious TB.Wash.
