Section 388-106-0085 - What criteria does the CARE tool use to place me in one of the classification groups?

The department uses CARE to assess your characteristics. Based on this assessment, the CARE tool uses the following criteria to place you in one of the classification groups:

(1) Cognitive performance.

(2) Clinical complexity.

(3) Mood/behaviors symptoms.

(4) Activities of daily living (ADLs).
