Section 357-19-170 - Can an appointing authority reassign an employee?

Within an agency or higher education institution/related board, an appointing authority may reassign an employee to a different position within the same class as long as the employee meets the competencies and other position requirements. (See WAC 357-19-175 for special provisions covering reassignments to different geographic areas.)
