Section 352-20-010 - Stopping, standing or parking prohibited in specified areas(1) No operator of any automobile, trailer, camper, boat trailer, or other vehicle, shall park such vehicle in any state park area, except where the operator obtains and properly displays the required state parks' permit and the vehicle is parked either in a designated parking area, or in another area with the permission of a ranger.(2) No person shall park, leave standing, or abandon a vehicle in any state park area after closing time, except when camping in a designated area, or with permission from the ranger.(3) No person shall park, leave standing, or abandon a vehicle being used for commercial purposes in any state park area without written permission from the ranger.(4) Any vehicle found parked in violation of subsection (1), (2), or (3) of this section may be towed away at the owner's or operator's expense.(5) In any infraction involving stopping, standing or parking of vehicles, proof that the particular vehicle described in the notice of infraction was stopping, standing or parking in violation of any such provision of this section together with proof that the person named in the notice of infraction was at the time of the violation the registered owner of the vehicle, shall constitute in evidence a prima facie presumption that the registered owner of the vehicle was the person who parked or placed the vehicle at the point where, and for the time during which the violation occurred.(6) Except as provided in WAC 352-20-070, any violation of this section is an infraction under chapter 7.84 RCW.Wash.
