Section 308-30-110 - Requirements for notarial acts(1) In performing a notarial act, the notary public shall be physically within the geographic borders of the state of Washington.(2) A notarial officer who certifies that an event has occurred or an act has been performed shall determine, from personal knowledge or satisfactory evidence, that the occurrence or performance took place.(3) Electronic notarial acts shall conform to the requirements listed in these rules and RCW 42.45.040 on signing parties appearing before the notary.Wash.
