Section 296-45-52525 - Protection against drowning(1) Whenever an employee may be pulled or pushed or may fall into water where the danger of drowning exists, the employee will be provided with and must use U.S. Coast Guard approved personal flotation devices. (2) Each personal flotation device must be maintained in safe condition and must be inspected frequently enough to ensure that it does not have rot, mildew, water saturation, or any other condition that could render the device unsuitable for use.(3) An employee may cross streams or other bodies of water only if a safe means of passage, such as a bridge, is provided.Wash.
